Events Proposal SubmissionThere are three steps to submit your proposal:
STEP 1: Complete the relevant form:
Scientific meeting proposal form - Biochemical Society event
Harden Conference proposal form - Biochemical Society event
Training event or course proposal form - Biochemical Society event
Sponsored event form - £500 support for an event, independently organised

STEP 2: Send proposal for checking to the relevant Research Area or Theme Panel(s). Please send this at least one week before the deadline to allow time for feedback.
Research Area I: Genes
Research Area II: Molecular Structure and Function
Research Area III: Energy and Metabolism
Research Area IV: Cells
Research Area V: Signalling
Research Area VI: Biological Systems
Clinical and Translational Research Theme Panel
Training Theme Panel
STEP 3: Following feedback from the relevant Research Area(s) and/or Theme Panel, sign up or sign in and complete the online form, providing all information included in the Word document.
Review process: Once the deadline has passed, all submissions are formally reviewed by the Research Areas/Theme Panels. Recommendations are then passed to the Conferences or Education Committees for final decisions. Submitters will then be informed of the decision regarding their proposal. Please note that it can take 6-8 weeks from the deadline date to final decisions.
